i think overseas allowance only for attachment for a
pre-determined period of time.
if you go those 1 week or so only dun haf. only those like the
tsunami go for weeks and weeks or peacekeeping for months den i
know they will give overseas allowance. not too sure wat is the
min. length of time though
anyway overseas allowance is from MINDEF side. nothing to do with
unit. so unit bankrupt MINDEF will still pay overseas allowance if
you are eligble
