I got a cousin, he is from commandos. I have to say he's physically fit and stuffs like that but he looks down on people, not only to other army units but to civilians as well! wtf!

I am still a student struggling in my studies, and this cousin of mine like to "bully me" , saying stuffs like i am destined to be a "dog" in army.

He always like to action a lot. Example like when he was helping my parents to do some stuffs, he would say "aiya no problem one lor, i from commando, eat more tough than u all liao loh"

I always heard about the army is all about a big team working together to defend the country, each and everyone depends on each other to succeed.But got this type of people and blacksheeps, really very disheartening leh.

Since he like to act zai , next time all the sai kang just push to him say " aiyo u commando sure can do 1 la" n e ways if you talk about fitness got some other units the ppl oso damn fit lo like the engineers and besides if ya cousin is from the recent batches , confirm fitness oni so so la army now sibei slack liaoz .......

We’ve covered this before. More often than not guys like that are the runts of the litter, and they’re trying to lord it over others because, well, they’re small fries within the walls of Hendon camp. The real big boys don’t have that kind of attitude problem.

Tell him aiyah, cdo so what. When he ORD, he still civilian. And in civilian life, you can make more money than him. And even if he stay cdo, odds of him becoming chief cdo officer is low. Whereas you can definitely rise a hell lot higher in the private sector.

Or maybe you can join govt sector, go Mindef then be the civilian that orders him around.

Or join SIB or MSD and then bully him with surprise checks. ;-)

in times of war, i think we will surrender without a fight lor. history repeat itself. with fark up officers, specs and civillian, what for fight for the country even though i quite siao on one. i only fight for myself and my family. those people who knows how to complain, i would like to see who they complain to in times of war. write letter to the US huh? for not protecting singapore?

We've been here before, guys. Yes, there are a bunch of louts within the battalion, and these guys are particularly visible when you consider that the real pros keep a low profile. On the other hand, the vast majority of the battalion knows how to behave themselves and don't deserve to be tarred with the same brush.
