Gordonator SG under-rated? the engineers definately. just look at the things we are doing, we should jolly well be considered a combat formation.
Ogbunwezeh SG I think logistic is the worst. Most under rated. Take a look at all the logistician like drivers, cqms, storemen etc. All these ppl help to supply n move the army but all treated like some dirt. Without them, nothing can operate in SAF.
ditzy SG Armour lah of course! Ask yourself, commandos got OVMs to settle after outfield? Commandos got OVMs in their LRI?
Gordonator SG let me go through what the engineers do and u all decide for yourselves. the engineers has 3 unit that deals with dangerous and hazardous stuffs that might cost them their lives anytime. the CBRE engineers from 39SCE that deals with biological warfare. the EOD engineers from 36SCE that deals with bombs. the field engineers from 30SEC that deals with mines. and not forgeting the amphibious engineers from 35SCE boat coy that ride the waves. the bridging engineers responsible for setting up the bridges. the construction engineers doing all those contruction work. somemore the engineers operate some of the biggest meanest machineries around, the VLB, AVLB and FLB just to name a few. i think we seriously deserve more credits.
AE86tofu SG sucks man...going for crescendo in thailand this coming aug...(or ex. claymore) and bro not only got boat coy ma....got bridging engineers also(consisting of bravo and alpha) not EZ esp building the candace bridge....one part can weigh up tp 250Kg and its divided among 4 men only....alot of cases liao ppl losing limbs etc...one guy perm PES E cos broken right wrist...master hand somemore.... Lucky I in almond...but then still shiong....
tarutaru SG in fact all units are important but of cause some have to be in front while some have to support from the back.
AE86tofu SG both la....when the need arises I still have 2 hit anchorage Pins,pre-launch drills...I even have 2 dig my own shellscrape in thailand after driving for 8 hrs??? plus camoing veh...and FYI 7-ton needs 2 camo nets and 6 poles..If its an inner or ramp pontoon at the back its not so bad...kanna tugboat sure steam one

AE86tofu SG But under-rated...when was the time u see engineers getting best unit? when was the time u see engineers becoming GOH for NDP? Do we receive vocation pay like infantry etc?
