Was there in April 05, armour L/F.
Weather very very hot and dry, make sure you drink lots of water.
While setting butt for L/F, 1 of my man suffered slight heat
exhaustion.
Cheap food, chio gals and Ah Gua to see adn the canteen, not
forgetting to mention the cheap Heineken beer......
Living condition is acceptable......but very humid and hot
especially in the afternoon......feels like sleeping in an
oven.......cause of the zinc roof and cement walls........BTW,
there are lots of mango trees in camp, can eat till you sick....
While outfield, be careful of where you prone, lots of long and
wicked thorns and the wild lifes.....scorpions, centipides, snakes
etc etc.......
Look out for the "ninja force" (aka mobile canteen)........can
enjoy a plate of freshly fried bee hoon and ice cold coke/sprite
while laagering........cost 15-20 baht per can.....
You will come back with a nice tan or worse like me..........bad
sun-burnt!!!!!
