SMAPLionHeart SG SAF is well known for finger pointing , so now we just have to watch and see whose fault it is... Just like India's MIG-21 , when it was actually the fault of the MIG-21 , which has ageing avionics and equipment , but the fault was eventually pushed to the pilot. SAF truck don't have ABS, anti lock braking system , or electronic braking system or active sensory control or even a proper GPS satellite tracking system. I don't even wanna drive it...
Altis84 SG errrr 5 ton got abs hor just for ur info well if really the lorry whack the 1.5 tonner and create a chain reaction... i dun find a reason why charge the driver lah. And .. ya very long journey... what other vehicles can we use to ferry 17 ppl. However i think 17 pple if at the back of the 1.5 tonner kinda a bit overloaded leh.
iveco SG I think it is the same all over. A camp mate of mine was fined because he was a front-seat passenger of a GP car that was involved in an accident with a taxi. I myself was given a warning for falling asleep in the vehicle commander's seat. Both incidents took place at 10 SIB.
Gordonator SG neither the driver of the 1.5 tin nor the v-com is at fault. it was afterall the 4th truck which crashed onto the 1.5 ton.
Zooish SG I didn't manage to catch the news clip, anyone who caught it can tell me if the injured personnel were technicians, support crew or FDS guys?
Master -_- SG 10 + 1 First of all, the driver and VC already made a mistake by overloading. The already can be a chargeable offence
Zooish SG Overloaded ah? then i think its FDS personnel involved liao... *shakes head* Always a problem when handing and taking over duties at Changi East. In the past use rover and mini-van need to make 2 trips even if overloaded. After i left heard they got 1.5 ton, but still need to overload in order to make just one trip, if not the handing over personnel will only book out ard 2pm or 3pm which means half the off-day gone. CAB East is just too bloody far. Poor NSFs getting screwed over by a lousy system and incompetent management.
iveco SG How about the Unimog? How many people can it carry? On the first page, it said a MB-290 was used.
MBHawke SG I'm not sure if this would be a good place for this question. But can anyone help? What does the number on a yellow round disc, located on front of mindef vehicle represent?
