ICTs reduced to 10 years from 2006

Looking at the training - the only difference to me is the removely of the 3 BITs, which was a total waste of time in the first place. The last 3 years for me was more like a one gathering of old friends - watching boring videos and attending equally boring briefings. All my buddies agreed that we would rather do the 3 years BIT in one single in-camp, and get it over with. Looks like people at the top have noted the feedback.

For units that have done well in ATEC (ie. best unit), the remainder of the ICTs (8,9, and 10th year) should be switched off and pretty relax.

They're not trying to waste less of our time, they're not trying to waste their bonuses and $$$ by cutting the stupid programs.

Why dont they use the benefits to give us more tax and practical business opportunities and Employment Advantage?

I was there at FIBUA when Mr Teo visited us and releases the news. My unit happens to hit 10 year cycle with 7 high and 3 low. Most of us ROD the next day, receiving cert, medal and a Hamilton watch. It just happens too sudden, no more reservist, no more IPPT, no more MOB, it's our last in camp!

Whether your IPPT window is open or not open, no matter if you pass, gold, fail or RT, once you are on MR (Mindef Reserve), you are OUT OF ACTION!

Sad , because NKF gives Rolex Watches as Bonus to Staff . We served 10 long years get only hamilton .
