CKtalon SG An officer is an officer...so his pay will be tagged to his rank and estab.. The only problem is how high can a diploma holder rise up the ranks in SAF So if a diploma holder was very capable and rised to the LTC rank..His pay will still be better than a spec
Einstein99 SG Of course, u should also assume that the spec will also be a WO. A BTC Maj officer and a 2WO, which one earn more?
CKtalon SG Naturally the MAJ..though it will most probably take a longer time for him to reach MAJ than 2WO (provided he gets the 2nd contract)
nightzip SG the MOST important thing is to plan ur next course of action 2 to 3 years BEFORE you officially ROD or say bye bye to SAF. ask yourself what other jobs you intend to take up and start finding and applying for interviews etc...or best know LOTs of people during the reservists, friends etc, then see if they are big bosses and ask if they need workers or managers or CEOs.. always plan, my friend....or ofcourse you can open ur own stall and become own boss in furniture, food, retail, electronics etc industry. or partnerships.
