I posted this on the wrong forum, therefore posting again
here:
My understanding of Warrant Officers in the Singapore Army is that
like WOs in other Commonwealth Armies, they are senior enlisted
personnel rather than officers.
Can anyone tell me whether WOs are part of the Officers
Mess or whether like those in the British and Australian Armies,
they are members of the Sergeants Mess?
And on the issue of saluting, discussed elsewhere on the forum, the
only Warrant Officers I know about that are saluted are those in
the US Army where WOs are classified as officers.
