1 batch behind in OETI due to...... promotion wise how?

as above, im one batch behind my BMT batch of OETI trainees ( Jan enlisted ) due to having been sent for the class3/4 driving course by CPC first straight after BMT..

as such, would i still get my promotions to CPL and eventually 3SG the same time as my OETI batchmates? cause like that, would be rather unfair in a way, im gonna be doing more work as a recovery tech but would instead be 'rewarded' with a slower progress of promotions and pay due to having went for the driving course instead first..

hmmm, or would i get it faster than them? perhaps with backpay or smth to boot. shrugs, i know its not much, but was just wondering. anyone have any ideas? esp since now i've heard that all promotions are done by CPC, and not so much on the recommendations of ur superiors or whatever, but more or less adhering to a timeframe instead..

In the case of OETI courses, your CPL is automatic upon graduation from your BTT course.

All Auto Spec Techs are supposed to go for Recovery Veh Course before they begin their OETI training.

But let me get this right.You are in a veh recovery course when your BMT mates are in OETI, although you guys are all Auto Spec Techs?Strange occurance.But CPC does cock-up now and then.

Best thing to do is to ask your S1 or CC.Though in ARC, getting answers out of that nasty CC is not gonna be easy.The other option would be to ask the CC at STTS.

something like that.. i enlisted in Jan, so in March when i POP-ed, instead of going to OETI straight like the rest from my batch did, i had a driving course at STC/KBC first, rest of e time sleeping from 8-4 at STC ( lol ), and i finally entered OETI only in June, along with the other JC BMT batch from April, so yeap im a batch behind. thats what im trying to ask.. from what ive gathered, i will definitely get my rank eventually, thats a given, but my pt is, im gonna do more, but instead in a way i get paid less and get my rank later?

there were 10 of us.. only 7 passed tho. kinda wierd, the pple at STC told us that every batch of BMT, only 10 tech 'B' s would be selected to be recovery techs aka go for driving course first.. hahaha. kinda wierd situation la really.

Anyway, this is but a trial situation.Something to do with making sure each tech knows more than one aspect of his job well.
