The way i see it, NSFs are divided into JC group, and the Poly,
ITE, Mono-intake group.
For JC group, u have to stamp authority. U can try and befriend
them, but they will be quick to exploit that frenship. In the end
you'll still have to use yur rank.
For the other grp, u have to win their respect, gain their
frenship. Once you guys become close, they will be very loyal
towards u, and will unlikely screw u over.
Of course, this is a general observation, and as with everything in
life, there will be exceptions
