Well,as a kid I have always wanted to be a pilot.A fighter
pilot. But then...that was till I realised that the man on the
ground is important.A infantry man takes combat to a realli
personal level where each and every shot fired is clearly directed
at each other.Sometimes the action may get so heated up that you
can even see the face of each other. The thrill of being so upclose
and fighting so closely to another person and knowing that every
move either makes can result in the other being dead.
Unlike aerial warfare, combat takes place from miles away. With the
technological aid of missiles, radar etc. While land warfare revolves
around shooting the enemy in distances of less then 500m.Nowadays
as our world gets built up rapidly, combat may even take place just
a street apart.
Being a infantry or sf trooper to me feels really special as one is
down on the ground where the metal meets the meat.
