caring about his men, is one of the many things that an officer
has to do, even though it is one of the most important.
and there are many ways of showing care for his men. the way that
most people think is a display of care, may sometimes, in fact, not
be so, or if it is so, may not be the most important way. i think
most would have heard or seen Rommel's quote that first class
training is the way to show care for soldiers. but how many of us
actually agree with him, even though he is a renowed
militarist?
