no3 is the "office uniform", button short sleeve shirt, slacks (as in business type slacks) and black leather shoes (that look like boots but aren't really BOOT boots)

no. 1 is the ceremonial uniform as seen in commissioning parades and the guard of honour during parades
no. 2 is the ceremonial uniform for dinners and other events
no. 3 is the office wear
no. 4 is needless to say
no. 5 is same as no. 3 except it is long sleeve, with matching tie and jacket. more for formal office - like official visits, and more important events.

No.1 parade & ceremory (usually wear by guard of honor)
No.2 for dinning in ( looks a bit like No.1)
No.3 Admin for staff job not fatigue
No.4 -Smart 4 for drill & parade(camo)
-Long 4 for training(camo)
No.5 -longslvees version of No.3
- 5T---> No.5 wif tie
- 5J ----> No.5 wif tie and jacket

its quite amazing to me now how we could survive wearing the same no. 4 for days during outfield, especially for defense ex when u dig and dig and so sweat like a pig! i guess its conditioning - u jus get used to the uniform clinging onto ur body and the smell of urself and ur buddies. Laughing

u dun haf to. ur sergeant will do it for u - by tekaning u all en-masse! Mr. Green the fastest and best way of building ties is to make people go thru hardship together - look at SARS!

eheh we didn't dig, our ops doesn't involve us camping for too long.

but still we had missions for days, etc etc, aiyah u know lar, and yeah i guess it's just getting used to it.

not to mention footrot, ringworm, twisted ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, (insert joint here)

i quite heng... oni sprained my ankle twice and had quite bad footrot for my whole entire ns.
