Well, this is the sad thing abt SAF, focus too much on how well
a person can study liao.
A person who has leadership skills, etc but no education will most
likely be look over.
Most of the NSF dun see it during their NS days but when u begin ur
reservist, u start to see those who dun have education but
leadershup skills will start to shine. Seen a few PTE/LCP/CPL/3SG
drive in more expensive cars than their immediate officers. Because
in the real working world, education is not the most important
factor.
It is also due to this factor that during reservist that officers
are more willing to listen to their men and poll their advice and
experiences.
