I dunno - while LRRP rations (labelled "Special Field Rations")
do contain a heat-pack, they don't have cornflakes or the milo,
iirc.
even with the heatpack, its still pretty troublesome to heat up the
rations. Also, since the main meal is freeze-dried, you HAVE to use
hot water to prepare it (or you can use normal water and wait half
an hour or more for the rations to be edible). as far as
convenience is concerned, normal rations still win. the only thing
LRRP rations have going for them is their weight, and the better
quality of the 'snack' items.
