Can't say I remember that one - I was in the Army GOH contingent
so I couldn't see what was going on from where I was. During the
rehearsals (for both SAF day and NDP), we did have quite a number
of guys collapse, especially from the Navy contingent. For myself,
I just leaned against my M16 and had a snooze until I heard the RSM
go, "BARIS.....!". 
Actually, talk about extras, do you remember one guy losing his
beret just before the feu-de-joie at the '91 preview? Einstein
here's the dummy who knocked the beret off - I caught it with the
tip of my bayonet just as I was raising my rifle. Signed seven
extras for that, given personally by Encik Gunga himself. The guy
whose beret I knocked off is a mate of mine, and all these years
later I still haven't lived that one down.
