well.......i dun see how the common name is demeaning. btw it is
the original name in the older days, in fact gunfitter is an
official vocation name on the certificate of my OETI instructor(a
very nice warrant)
it's like we call admin assitants as clerks or supply assitants as
storeman etc.
i am indeed proud to be gunfitter or if you prefer armament tech
specialist(heavy arms).
its our job that really counts.
