i apply for signal specs last year ard July/August and everything
was cleared on the 27 Sept 2004 (the interview, the medical, the
NAPFA).
i got no reply from them since then.
i tot i am not selected or something....
den suddenly out of the blue today...
they sent me a letter that goes
Dear ________,
INTERVIEW FOR THE POST
OF COMBAT MEDIC UNDER THE JPSDS
and in the letter they ask me to bring along photocopied documents
which i already gave them on my first visit.
Can you people give me your advice?
i guess you are surprised because you are asked to go for an
interview for a vocation you did not choose?
this is entirely possible. even though we may choose certain
vocations when we intend to sign on, it is really up to them to
decide if we end up there, based on their need. in the meantime
they may ask you to go for interviews for other vocations. if you
are adamant, and only want to sign on as a signal spec, then you
will have to make your wish known. but you can also call up arc to
confirm that there wasnt any mix up or cock up somewhere.
