There are malay pilots. From memory, one is an F-16 fighter
pilot,the other is a C-130 pilot.Anyway,sorry my muslim
friends, some units there are no malays due to the sensitivity of
the nature of their work.Am a chinese here, read that Malays are not
allowed as the Quran states something like its wrong for a Muslim
to fight against another Muslim. Thus some frontline chiong suan
units do not accept muslims. So far there are malay
guardsmen, infantry etc.Navy and Air Force side malays are only like
5% of the entire force make-up.
How often does one see a malay sailor or a malay air-crew
right? Most are posted to SCDF.But anyway, you guys rock
man!!!Together we serve the nation, not as chinese, malay, indian or
eurasian, but as a true blooded Singaporean.
