the basic allowances for rec/pfc/pte is $350, lcp is $370, cpl is $420 and 3sg is $560

for combat pay, those infantry/armour/combat engineer/signal/artillery/provost combatants gets $100 more per month while guards $200 n commandos $300 more

you should be automatically promote to pte after pop from bmt n since u have a diploma at least you can get to the rank of CPL.

as for how long u will be promoted to pte-> lcp-> cpl it depends on you unit n ,many other issues

not every vocations can get you to 3SG unless you went sispec, oeti (non-combat) or be a transport supervisior (non-combat)

as for me i got my CPL from CPC 1 year after enlistment. i never gotten my LCP. straight from PTE to CPL.

as for those below A level/diploma in my unit, they need to pass IPPT to get LCP.
