The first one looks rather extreme. I don't think most units
would allow it - at least mine doesn't. Once there was a guy in my
company who booked in with that hairstyle. My OC took one look at
it and ordered him to cut all the way down or risk getting charged.
In the end he had to cut to almost skinhead level. Better skinhead
than Mohawk.
The second hairstyle looks okay to me. I kept my hairstyle to that
standard when I was in the army. In fact, I ORD-ed one year ago,
and I'm still maintaining that hairstyle. Very low maintenance with
a touch of style. Just a small dollop of hair gel, and I'm on my
way.
In fact, if you guys want to know, I haven't combed my hair for
more than three years.
