This year's National Day Parade will celebrate the key ingredient
in Singapore's foundation - its people and the theme is 'Our
People, Our Home'.
This was unveiled, along with this year's NDP logo, which comprises
red speech bubbles, one of which contains the crescent moon and
five stars of the flag.
Said parade executive committee chairman Colonel Wong Yu Han: "Our
team wants to create a parade that will deeply engage fellow
Singaporeans and inspire the next generation through active
participation. We want to celebrate the can-do attitude and caring
spirit that hold us together and make Singapore our home."
This year's celebration will be held at The [email protected] Bay, and
is made of three segments - the pre-parade, parade and ceremony,
and show.
