Could be because the call signs for I and Q are India and
Quebec, which are names of a country and a Canadian province. I
guess its not very appropriate to name a coy after another
country.
Although there is no reason why they can't juz deviate and use
another call sign, since they're already doing so with some coys
(eg. Hawk/Hotel, Jaguar/Juliet).
BTW, didn't know Luqman got posted out. Isit a demotion? Cos he
going from an OC to a PC?
