I remember in my unit, a directive was sent out to everyone: the only men's magazines allowed in camp are the local editions of FHM, Maxim, and the like. No...

smoking... Sad

ditzy SG

Anything your imagination is not limited to. Laughing

Gordonator SG

anything that u are not supposed to be doing, they can catch.

dibilo SG

for drivers – speeding (may sound funny, but my friend actually got caught for this b4), not filling up log bks, no CAT class badge (not too sure about this),

wuming78 SG

anything that contravenes SAF regulations, and is detrimental to the SAF in general.

most are quite clearly laid down, while others are really up to the interpretation of the MP.

well, just use your common sense - that should help. Wink

...AWOL…

Gordonator SG

my friend was caught for dying his hair by MP before at the bus stop outside camp. he was given a warning. beware MPs can be everywhere, sometimes they are in civilian clothings hanging around bus stops outside camps catching poeple. (or was it a coincidence my friend was caught? i don’t know)

kwlee SG

i saw a nsf supposingly wearing his no.4 with dye hair ..... i was like wtf.. Shocked

LazerLordz SG

Me too.Same guy??

Gordonator SG

how u know NSF? might be a reservist?

kwlee SG

hmmm, saw him at cck interchange.... hw bout u ?

Gordonator SG

the 1 i mentioned above is my friend lah. Laughing at the bus stop outside camp. he just came back from his leave, some of the dye not yet totally removed.

SMAPLionHeart SG

Reservist not allowed to dye hair?

gnoik SG

I oso saw one at CCK. But he was a CLT. About 17 yrs old going poly so dye hair.. Mad

contact_thatslife SG

Than? Even lng hair oso nt allowed. They will ask u to dye black on e 1st day of ur ict, n as 4 lng hair, they hve a barber on e spot to cut ur hair, n u must pay him smemore.

contact_thatslife SG

ILLEGAL PARKING...no joke, last time my camp @ cck, than the MP unit is just there. Always c them booking MID vehicles parking on double yellow lines outside a coffee shop near the camp. CV vehicles bo chap n still continue to park there when e MID vehicles gt summon, cause they knw the MP won't summon them. They only drive off when they c sme1 in blue or white, nt green!

palmerised SG

question: MPs are allowed to book you even in civvie clothes? Be it under-cover or off-duty..

dibilo SG

yupz. my friend got caught while we are going home from after given a 1/2 day off. he was caught by an mp for dirty boots Laughing and yea, that mp is in CV.

zenmaster SG

mebbe this applies only to NSF, not reservists.
imagine the number of reservists with long/dye hair or dirty boots when a recall is activated.... is the MP going to book all of them if they decide to go for a cup of kopi after they have reported?
