ok.. from what i gather from the posts, the differences between
the so-called "new" no. 4 and the "old" ones is the ORIENTATION of
the pockets - not the existence of them. there are same number of
pockets, and the pants are cargo pants then and now, but the
difference is the old pants have pockets which are slanting, while
the new ones have pockets which are straight.
is that right?
what are the advantages of having slanting pockets btw?
and any other improvements that can be made on the current no.
4?
