Intelligently disabled receiving his letter from CMPB

I have a friend who have an slightly intelligently disabled younger brother (As he had meet accident when he was a kid thus injured his brain. All along my friend thought that his brother will never get caught up for NS but just recently he receive letter from CMPB asking him for medical checkup.

So what's next for my friend's brother?

I guess CMPB still needs to grade his condition accordingly (PES F) as a formality so that he can be exempted officially from NS should they really deem him as not to be fit to serve…

i seen a clerk with walking problem, take him ages to walk from guardhouse to canteen..and they didnt give him pes f or sumthing

my unit also got a slightly intelligently disabled person working as a storeman. didn’t do much work except for lying around, eat and wait for knock off. don’t have to do any night duties also.

lets say...if your friend is not working...then going to NS is actually good...why?

1). gain work experience and also next time applying for work can say he go nsf before, therefore better chance and pay
2). your friend can actually earn money by himself inside
3). if your friend PES E or PES F, if PES E, most prob. will only be clerical work, so not much stress, and get to go home everyday, more like working 8am to 6pm.
4). make more friends so that he got more friends after nsf and wont be lonely?

think about it....there may be some worries...but ultimately may be good... Very Happy

depends on hw serious e case is...i do hve a fri having serious leg problems, he is limping all e way when he walks...i heard fm young alreday like that. He was posted to oeti guard rm 2 do orderly there (change passes 4 visitors)....he was given pes E n everyday wore CV in camp even in e guard rm on duty...4 those of u fm that camp b4, rem there was a guy in CV sitting everyday at e guardrm, nw he ROD (not ord hor) liao.

there's an RP at OETI (or rather gloucester) that we nicknamed luohan fish. we heard he's both 302 and intellectually disabled.

either way we just plain hate him. he talks too much. especially about sun ho and CHC. no wonder he's a retard.
