Do your job well, and as long as you don't screw up, you will
already have done yourself a favour.I may sound cynical but not
every place in the Army has superiors who actually value your
contribution.By all means, I wish you the best but having seen 2.5
years of stuff and am going to ORD, I have to say that there are
people worth walking that extra mile for, and there are people who
you would club with your rifle if given a chance.
Elite vocations are elite, and if you can handle the tough regimen
there, you might enjoy it eventually because of the challenges you
will face there.Keep you chin up no matter where you end up.If you
wish to slack, make sure you do not inadvertantly cause trouble for
your mates.Stay safe and alive. You are after all, a NSF.There will
be many things which you will have learnt in the service , which
you will realise when your stint is coming to an end.
Good luck for your NS.Cheers.
