Well, just go in your Smart 4.......
Head dress usually not necessary, but bring along just in
case.......
This is because when it comes to Reservists, the Summary Trial is a
little more relaxed........ just go in, state your excuse, pay the
fine........
The scale of punishment up to 3SG is :
1st offence: $50 fine
2nd offence: $100 fine
3rd offence: DB (though so far haven't seen such a case)
Bring along any MC's that you have for your previous Birthday
Window....
Remember to confirm be excused, this is what you'll need:
Continuous MC for at least 6 months or
Accumulated MC for at least 9 months
However, the JDO can excuse you on compassionate grounds if you
have less than the required MC, so just bring it along
anyway.
If you've been overseas for a long period of time within your B'day
Window, you could bring that up as well.
On another note, you could call your reservist unit, and speak to
them about the charge. Tell them the circumstances that led to you
not doing IPPT and hope they'll see your point of view and excuse
you from the trial. You can also submit valid MCs to your unit so
that you can be excused from the charge. Take note however, that
you'll probably have to go back to camp and have the MC endorsed by
the MO.
