Ahh...yes of course....the bunk computers....in-house LAN

Kaczynski SG

Hmmm...these No. 3 boards have stripes that are gold and white in colour..

The rank (CDT) is mainly for people going thru the CLT course bah...I remember teacher NCC-trainees (they have another course for that) having 2 white stripes during training...My eyes may be paying tricks on my though cos I saw it while browsing thru the NCC HQ Event's photo album...

Yah, when the CLT series of rank is worn on No. 4, the gold-threaded items (the gold bar and the "NCC" wording) turns black, while the CADET strip (white) remains as so...

btw, i vaguely remember some rule allowing cadets in OCS to book out in smart 4 as a form of minor punishment.

kwlee SG

they book out in a long sleeve white shirt with a ocs collar pin, black pants and leather shoes???

Gordonator SG

why booking out in no.4 consider a punishment? i also everyday book in/out in no.4.

ya they do. what i want to know is does it start form tri-service term (1 white bar) that they can book out in long sleeve white shirt or only in professional term (3 white bar) can they do that? Question

wuming78 SG

i believe for you, you are not required to book in / out in no. 4

for the cadets, they are supposed to book in and out in the white shirt black pants attire immediately less the first bookout.

yes, booking out in no. 4 (+ fieldpack, just like a recruit) can be made a punishment for cadets whos bookout attire cmi.

gnoik SG

Why is it a form of punishment? Thought wearing smart 4 will make u look "smarter"? Laughing

Gordonator SG

the white long sleeve shirt, black pants, leather shoes are not issued by OCS right? the cadets have to buy themselves right? Question

one-niner SG

yup ..i took the liberty of buying a pair of Fil la Fi pants and shirt from Suntec Laughing

NCC Cadets.
CLT Trainee has a white stripe with the "NCC" wording, CLT has a white stripe and a shorter gold one with the "NCC" wording, Senior CLT has two white stripe and a shorter gold one with the "NCC" wording

NCC Officers.
Those undergoing training has two white stripes (similar to the one for CLT Trainee) with the "NCC" wording, they are known as Officer Cadet Trainee.

Actually, it's easier Mr. Green

But sometimes, the support cadets (3 white bars) would tend to book out in No.4 (maybe), if they go somewhere for visit and fall out there and then....

Kaczynski SG

Haha..Thought I posted this piece of info earlier on in the thread? Very Happy

Hmm....Not for SOCC people...They still have to book out in their civis...(long sleeve shirt etc etc)..

gnoik SG

I tink the cadets have to buy the clothes and shoes themselves ba... since their pay so high!!! Laughing
So those who book out in smart 4 are being punished la? I will look out next time!!

Gordonator SG

if they book out in no.4 then book in also no.4 ah? or is it can wear back white shirt and black pants? Question

cornyfish2000 SG

If book out in civvies, can go chiong straightaway after bookout, just take out the collarpin will do. We used to arrange with a school bus auntie to drive in and pick us up at the safti carpark every sat afternoon, then drive us to ginza for a round of CS b4 going home. Mr. Green

Anyway, i've personally never seen anyone kenna punished with being made to book out in smart 4...

cornyfish2000 SG

What's the cadet's pay now ah? Last time it was 525 only..

sidestep1984 SG

cornyfish2000 SG

Well it was sorta like a routine for a few of us, after a whole week of deprivation. Mr. Green

My friends then very siao one, some people even booked in extra early on sunday evening to play games. I must say our bunk computers were made full use of...

deathscythe99 SG
