I remember back in BMT there was this one guy who showed up on
enlistment day with his enlistment letter and all his documents.
Due to some fantastic admin screw-up, however, he didn't seem to
have an assigned bed, section, platoon or even company.
He approached my PS, who had to call up the other company having
enlistment that day, chase a lot of people for answers, toss HQ
BMTC upside down and practically move heaven and earth in trying to
figure out where the guy belonged to.
He eventually joined my platoon.
