nympho SG say, during yr training in the army, if yr muscles get sore..what do you do? and there’s training everyday. how to deal with this?
sidestep1984 SG as my fren always say F the pain and f-ing carry on.... well....just make sure u rest uh...really rest...stretching b4 u sleep will help.... if u got the money...buy the osim i-medic...hehehe then u will really look forward to going home.... when u sleep...elevate ure legs...like put something under the knees..that helps too..
kops21 SG It works for most folks, but in the army, the course of action is not in our hand. The army want u to chiong, how to tell ur superior ur muscle ache, u need to rest. Take care of urself, dont force urself if you cant take the training and be frank to ur superior. At times, it is the mind that is weak. If so many ppl can survive, so can you. Bite the bullet and chiong ahh.....
nympho SG thats true. but at the same time, muscle soreness and hard training can mean a higher chance of injury eg. pulling a muscle. besides stretching, what can be done? protein bars or the such?
sidestep1984 SG water........ u get glucasomine...good enuff...... the rest of the supplements are useless...unless u noe wat u are taking in... wat matters now is a damn good diet...u get a chance to eat...eat as much as u can.......
NathanG5 SG glucasomine only for bone joint..not for muscle soreness.. but water is the best...u want to speed up recovery..buy those sports drink mix..like replace or maybe cheaper one like glucolin... n also stretch whenever u have the time...full body stretch..
Gordonator SG eat more chicken. everynight before sleeping, do stretching ecercise. as for me i feel that fighting poison with poison helps too. if my arm muscles aches, i do some streching then some push ups, it won't feel so sore.
kAdEn SG Buy some glucose powder to mix as drinks. Drink it b4 and after your training... Deep Heat or some other muscle rubs after the training helps to. And of course proper stretching...stretch, stretch, stretch...It helps your muscles to grow and rest well
01024G SG For my work, I am doing almost the same action (pick, poke in, throw) everyday. After about 2 weeks, the area betweem my shoulder and the back of my neck started giving me some problem. I went to see the Chinese physician. The problem came back a few days later. Then I started doing some exercises lah... simple ones like push-ups, inclined pull-ups. Now I'm feeling better already. And stretch more, when you walk, can stretch just stretch. Don't care what people think about you. Your body is more important.
fudgester SG Yoko yoko may help..... I used Salonpas gel myself. It's a blue-coloured tube.... I can't remember how much it costs. Bear in mind though.... do NOT step into the shower after using Yoko Yoko/ Salonpas or any other muscle rubs. If you do, be prepared for the ultimate happening skin-burning experience.
deathscythe99 SG And after applying Salonpas/Yoko Yoko, dun put on ur pants...ESP. after applying a lotta of it on the thigh/knee area. The increase in temperature will affect you...in a way
