Why many kindergartens not keen in employing males?

In many areas males have been role models. However, many kindergartens are reluctant to employ males. MOE/PCF kindergartens not sure. Even if you are a retiree and like a grandfather to the young kids/tiny tots still not employable.

From friends from this industry there are few guys take preschool course. In practice when they work in childcare men teachers are not allowed to shower kids and involve in other activity. They are allowed only to teach.

I was told there are men as teachers but very few.

Unless u love the company of women at work if not I don' t encourage a male to work at childcare. friends from this industry feedback, like many women in other industries women in childcare are just as gossipy. If u dun mind all these by all means you can try your luck to get a job there.

These days we hear one or two female teachers misbehaving towards the young male students? That means cannot trust woman the angels in our life anymore? Man or women we are there to help each other. Not to suspect one another which will not do good to any person. In those days they have boys school. Now no more. Even than we trusted the ladies to take care of our dear ones! If you do not trust your grandfather and also the young man than who do you want to trust?

I trust my grandmother and the young girl. Why? Because I am a girl. I would give my trust to a female doctor more than a male doctor.

You can't change my opinion. A government study in the USA found that in 96 percent of sexual assaults on children the offenders were male. I worried that a male sitter will do something inappropriate of a sexual nature which is just mean.

Sometimes, I am afraid that the male doctor will take advantage of me. I have seen so many guys in this world - you can't deny that guys are a horny bunch of people. Although I've never been molested or sexually assaulted in any way, I am really unable to trust a male caregiver taking care of my children.

Generally, ours is still a conservative society who see females as motherly figure to take care of kids. Mohan may wanna take the challenge to change the mind of general public about this.

You are pretty right about the horny males. Not all but majority males are horny easily.

As for male dr part, one bloody foreign "talent" thai male dr insisted I unzip my garment completely for him to check. I was extremely offended. Other drs no need me do the same when I see them for same prob. I refused and he was offended and scolded me. Next all bloody clinic assistants rushed in to scold me and showed me face.
