I can have a short tour as an OC in my NSF as this course is quite long and i ORD next year. All in all, i can expect myself to return as an OC during reservist.

hmm..thats interesting short tour ..as an OC .....well i never heard of a NSF LTA return from CTC still being appointed OC ...unless your leave all burned, or u signed too much extras till your CO decided to make u appt u an OC so that to clear your extras ? Laughing

well by RIGHT no, as your tenaure of service of being OC is too short ...and usually OC tours are 1 yr tours, so unless something happened to the OC before the NSF took over like went AWOL, died in accident or some unforseen circumstances, but chances your CO will not put an NSF as an OC ....

by LEFT however, if your CO seems deem fit that a NSF LTA who has completed CTC and can take over the appt of an OC , he can take over.

i'm not too sure how the Service and Support Arms handles such cases, but i have never heard of a NSF OC in the SIR, CDOs or Guards...and not even during CTC ...kinda of weird right NSF OC ... Neutral

no by right or left - it is clear cut NSFs would not be able to sit on an OC apptment, especially so when the recent policy is that one has to go thru a PC tour AND a 2IC tour before one can assume OC appointment.

an NSF already has only about one year as a PC. it won't be possible that he be allowed to assume OC within that one year.
