there is no need to put everyone through the course in order for
them to test their limits and to learn humility. that is certainly
not one of the primary objectives of the course, if that is an
objective at all.
in any case, in my opinion, soldiers in higher command positions,
and those who are likely to handle sensitive information during
ops, should be given a go at the course. but before that, the
objectives must be clear, and the course must be tailored, or
customised if need be, so as to achieve the necessary
objectives.
