Frankly, I think infantry units should change to the disposable
bunker busting launchers , I think there are a few types that carry
an explosive charge bigger than the LAW. Afterall, the 84 mm is
nowadays mostly employed against hardened shelters and softer
armoured vehicles. A soldier can carry 3 or 4 disposable launchers
on a " H" frame on his back. His assistant can carry the same which
will already be a good mission load.

Well an active SIR Bn was tasked with carrying a trial version
of the LAW tube backpack, similar to what u said, but its more like
a haversack version, the poor LAW gunner nearly kana heat
exhuastion. its not very combat effective as a LAW doesn't possess
much penetration power.
As for the disposable, i don't noe if your refering to the Matador
(is it disposible ? sorry ORDed before i could know it) a bloody
9kg missle isn't the best thing to carry ard, u end up like an ATGM
gunner....
The purpose of the 84mm RR team along with the rest of the security
force is usually deployed in a block force position.Don't think i
can comment much on what a block force do, but those COY 2IC or
84MM RR Commanders and HQ Platoon PS will noe what the block force
does really.
