Laguna83 SG As a recruit now I got to bk in camp with smart4, and wearing smart4 always attract alot of attention from CV(maybe I was too sensitive). So I find it uncomfort with smart4 on, lucky I am going to POP. How do u all feel as a recruit wearing smart4?
wuming78 SG think its because you just started wearing it. more likely than not, this has caused your sensitivity. anyway you are not the only one - as you will probably know, there are tons of people like you at pasir ris on sunday evening.
LazerLordz SG Unit ppl also book in wearing No.4 too.Sometimes I’m too lazy to change if I woke up late for work.
cornyfish2000 SG There're so many pple in smart 4 walking around, i really don't think the general public pays much attention to uniformed saf personnel. As wuming pointed out, it're more a matter of yourself getting used to it..
cornyfish2000 SG Personally i will only if say, the guy's wearing a beret in a shopping centre or something really outrageous.
wuming78 SG only if 1. you stink 2. you behave weirdly (because you think people are looking at you?) 3. you dress improperly (like no. 4 with slippers?) 4. you over-dress (wearing beret and walk around?)
wuming78 SG no. 3? the office wear. im sure you have seen it before! the airforce and navy personnel always wears that in public, cos their no. 3s look nicer. the army personnel, on the other hand, often appear in no. 4. hahaha...
wuming78 SG oops! if you wanna see, just come to pasir ris on sunday evenings! in fact, im sure you will have some luck at this very moment!
Gordonator SG i feel garang! even now that i'm in a unit, i still book in/out in no.4 that's why i always make it a habit to kiwi my boots and fold my smart 4 nicely.
Gedanken SG Outstanding, soldier! I always get irritated when I see some slob in a poorly-worn No. 4. Personally, I never got to book out in No. 4.
pkchukiss SG I made it a point to never stay in No. 4 for long, transiting quickly from my home to Pasir Ris. It is not that I am not proud of my own turn out: there are too many restrictions when you are wearing it. I prefer sticking earphones in my ear and walk. Not to mention the silly rule that you can't walk and talk on your cell phone at the same time... Civilian is the way to go!
wuming78 SG your camp at pasir ris? or you live in pasir ris but you treat your camp as home? anyway i havent heard of the cell phone rule before!
