i was following this car in front of me and was about to park right in front of my gate when he stopped right outside my gate and parked there.

i gave him a friendly horn to let him know he was occupying my 'lot'. he turned around, gave me that 'what-you-want' face and just walked off! could you believe it?!

i believed he was one of my neighbour's visitors as there were quite a few more cars around at that time.

i couldn't park behind him as i'd be blocking my direct neighbour's gate and i also could not park on the other site of the road as there was another car there, presumably another visitor.

so i decided to make life difficult for him and went in front and parked bumper to bumper with his car, i also took down his number plate in case anything happened when i was not around.

luckily i do not park in the house or i'd have called the tow truck or smth.

i was on the pie (tuas) during evening today and there was a chery qq with its blinding rear fog lights on.

i was not in a rush and thus decided to give the driver a friendly heads up so he can switch off his rear fogs because they are extremely distracting to cars behind and it blinds a drivers ability to see ahead clearly.

the weather was fine, there was an overcast sky and the sun had set but the street lights were on and visibility was good. his fog lamps had no reason to be on.

so i went behind him and gave him a friendly high beam. but i figured since i was trying to indicate to him his fogs are on, i switched on my front fogs as well.

he's reaction was beyond my comprehension

1) he drove on for another 300m without reacting.

2) he then proceeded to slow his car down from 80 to 60 to 50kmh..

3) he then switched on his left signal light to filter to the 3rd lane (we were on lane 2) but did not check his mirror and almost crashed into a car on the left, he had to swerve back to avoid hitting that car.

4) he still has his left signal light on and is slowly down to about 40kmh while waiting for a chance to filter left. all the cars going past him on his left were going in excess of 70kmh (how did he pass his lane changing module?!)

5) finally there was no cars (it shld have been a lane change, but he changed lanes like as though there was a give way line. he might as well treat it as a stop line and stop before changing lanes on an xpressway -.-)

6) he then proceeded to the 3rd lane and slow down further to like 25kmh. and he still has his left signal light on and is still trying to filter left to 4th lane for reasons beyond my comprehension.

7) the cars on the left obviously just cruise by without giving way (was he expecting pple to jam their brakes from 80kmh to 25kmh for him to change lanes?)

Cool his rear passenger turned her head around and stared at me. oh i must mention that the rear fog lamps are STILL ON.

9) he completely stopped his car. so we're now on the 3rd lane of a 4 lane expressway and we're travelling at ZERO kmh even though there's no accident or any other reason to stop. oh and he's STILL TRYING TO FILTER LEFT with his left signal and rear fog lamps on.

10) the car behind me horned at him (or me as well?) for stopping.

11) he then moved left into lane 4 halfway even though there were still cars.

12) i gave up, i used wadever half-lane-space was left on lane three and accelerated to continue on my journey and switched off my lights.

13) i still cannot comprehend his actions.

maybe he's the china man whose leg kena stung by stone fish den his leg swell... so it's a bit heavy on the brakes till the car stopped. Very Happy

I was driving along and this car cut in front of me (I was in the turning left lane) and just before the exit, he cut right (I think we were the only two cars around (yesterday, Sunday) and went straight on...

WTH, what was that all about? If he wasn't turning left why did he suddenly cut in front of me so aggressively?

Maybe I unknowingly irritated him earlier on... WTH, if I irritated him, it was unknowingly... cut in cut out, like that very shiok meh? Rolling Eyes

next time don't bother turning on your fog lights.... doesn't affect him in anyway.... unless the beam is aimed up to his rear mirrors instead of down on the road Mr. Green Turning on your highbeam would give you a more prominent presence Twisted Evil

i joked with a friend in a conversation, if got ever a case where you got confronted by someone who had his rear fog light on and ask why you turn on your highbeam, tell them their rear foglamp too bright, so use highbeam to reduce the intensity Laughing

lol,standard ar singapore drivers. I hate it really when they don't signal and SUDDENLY cut in. Seriously man, so many drivers dont siganl. That is annoying la i mean it is to warn others but they... argh!

Normally a short horn is friendly warning...like "hey,I am here."
Long continuous horn is more aggressive....like "what the fark are U doing?!"
