if you can go to ocs, you will go to ocs. if there is the estab, there will be space for you to go there. there's nothing to be unfair about, some people prefer to be "men", some want to be commanders. you can't compare it that way on what's fair or unfair.

Yes REC and PTE basic allowances is $350 per month. Those increases allowances rumours are just rumours, not true..........

I hv many friends from Alpha coy n yes, many of them went to SISPEC n OCS except those who can't meet their critera.

There are 10-13 ppl in a BMTC bunk......

anyway, just curious, if a commando is posted out to other units, will he still hold his red beret or will he have to give up the red beret? meaning that he has already completed his BCT and all..
also, is there anyone who goes to commando school for BCT after they pass out of OCS?

I do meet one guy who is an ex NCC officier who wayang all the way to become the best recruit of the platoon... And of course he ends up in OCS.
