Ponders is correct about distinguishing between the Enhanced BMT
recruits from Standard/Modified BMT counterparts. Only the former
group will be subjected to additional modules that trains for
junior-commander skills.
Administratively, I don't think they assign these things strictly
in terms of PES status, though. Instead, it has more to do with the
slated FFI (Fit for Instruction) criteria for each posting.
