TES a.k.a Tactical Engagement System.Played it 5 times during
Army Open House 2004.well its sort of a replacement for the older
MILES a.k.a Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System.
Well the newer TES in my opinion is alot lighter then the older
MILES as the MILES is heavier, cumbersome and the laser emitting
unit is a friggin' lage attachment which is mounted on the barrel
of the weapon, this tends to affect aim.
Well, prefer the new TES system as it is so much lighter, more
practical and user friendly. The MILES once you are shot, regardless
in which part, you are DEAD!However, the TES system is more realistic
as shots hitting on-essential parts will not result the trainee in
being killed. This can be an advantage or disadvantage. As MILES will
ensure the soldier will try whatever means not to get killed, while
in TES the soldier may adopt the reverse mantality thus defeating
the training purpose.
And BMT recruits nt gonna handle TES,will only be done in SISPEC or
OCS if I'm not mistaken. Those in combat units on exercises may use
it too.Lastly,if you wanna play it all the time, try getting into 3
SIR.
