Most likely desk job. A good gig would be him heading his small
department snugly within a certain part of the camp, like QM
(Quartermaster) or equivalent.
The "bad" thing for him is that a 2LT is quite small fly in that
level of command HQ, compared to his fellow commissioned
counterparts who'll be relatively big shots with frontline units.
If he kena DY something (DY = deputy), IMO it's really no better
than a glorified pencil-pusher.
