Advanced Trainfire Programme (ATP) RANGE

Gordonator SG

will like to know the different type of Range package available, and what unit is taking them.

example:
Range for Support Unit (M16): 28 shots, 16 day shots, 12 night shots. ramdom targets. total of 23 shots to get marksman.

i took the above package with the combat engineers last month.

Eh....

Can say this out meh? (I not too sure mah)

Anyway, I know of 2 main types:
ATP (run or walk)
Combat shoot

Different versions for these 2:
Combat
CSS
(think got sniper and other stuff also..)

LazerLordz SG

Shouldn't be a problem with that.

That is for CSS ATP. If I'm not wrong.

Now got one step better....Combat shoot.

Jia lut, kenna first time for me, oh well, for most NSFs 2nd yr soldiers, it IS the first time anyway... Total score of the detail determines whether all the people in the detail get marksman. Total score is 180. 144 to get marksman.

seizure_ SG

hm...i got the company best shot with a full score of 32/32 ATP range. will they keep me in the company? i really hope i get posted out of my camp though Confused POP on the 28th Sept

Gordonator SG

oh, my friends from my unit went for this range a few weeks back. i wondered, if in a detail of 10 men, 9 are marksman type of shooters and got 1 fellow in this detail is a bobo shooter. then the detail gets marksman becos of the 9 good shooters, is if fair for the bobo shooter to also get marksamn?

Gordonator SG

wow! u are really a good shooter! but too bad, there's no reward for marksman in BMT. try again loh next year in your unit. Wink

deathscythe99 SG

Not quite. But it's teamwork. 'Cos combat shoot is for cross-lane firing and therefore you need teamwork. When the person on the lane next to you gets IA, you can shoot for him. But of course, remedy IAs fast and pass the bullets to you also Wink

Going to have my ATP this coming thu. -.-'

I dunno how I'll fare sia...

Gordonator SG

good luck. get marksman, then treat us to coffee. Wink

deathscythe99 SG

Haha. I hope so too Razz
