What kind of sniper rifles does SAF use?

The SAF Snipers are currently using the Austrian-made Styer SSG.But it is in the process of being phased in favour of the Accuracy International PM L96A1 Sniping rifle.

They also use a whole rage of others like the H&k MSG90 a semi-auto sniper rifle and the Sig Sniper rifle.

The Carl Gustav was a very accurate sniper rifle but it was superseded by the lighter SSG69. Yes, it is outdated, but given a new rifle, there is no reason to suspect it’s accuracy. The only reason why it is not accurate anymore is because it’s barrel has been worn out. The system was introduced in 1987, so it’s been several years now. One can easily put a round into a 1cm diameter hole from 100m…....if you are a marksman.
