COL ~ background in BLUE/BLACK with the crest surrounded by the laurel

BG and above ~ background in RED with the crest slightly above the laurel and the centre is not too sure but i think it a sword and cannon.

If i'm not wrong, the type of crest and backing is not related to your rank, rather your command (past and present). Blue/Black background are generally for Bde Comds and have the SAF Crest surrounded by a laurel. (ex-10SIB was only an LTC but still used this crest during and after his Bde Command)

Div Comds (Not sure abt ACGS/SSSO Chiefs) use the crest seen in the pic that LG Ng Y.C and LG Lim CP is wearing.

If i'm not wrong, these crests are used for their No.1 peak caps as well. Also, can anyone confirm what the Joint/AirForce/Navy guys use? and someone from G1-Army wanna confirm this?[/quote]
