Fost SG Been in NCC 5yrs got damn fanatical bout the army only to find out dat i've been posted to civil defence n goin in soon. I'm sure i can hack it in the army. Are there any way to transfer? other dan signin on?
wuming78 SG since u r so keen about the army y not sign on? but if not, u shud call the civil defence NS personnel centre to check with them. chances r its very difficult to transfer NS this way. they cant possibly try to satisfy everyone's preferences. its gonna be never ending.

Ponders SG Yes and no. yes, if you present a good case to cmpb, but at this stage, i think talk to MP best option lah. Because being posted to CD means MINDEF "gave" you away to MHA based on their quota arrangements. Hard to exchange again. The only case i know is my friend surpposed to go CD but on reporting day got chicken pox. Then was sent a new reporting slip to go Army.
baer SG Ah tee.. you joined wrong uniform group lah, should have joined the Scouts. Almost all my scouts became commandos, guards, ITD instructors, none CD or police. Blame it on your poor choice at Sec 1, 'so here ends the lesson'.
