How to tell if my string is steel or nylon :(
If the string taste metalic, its steel. If it taste bland, its
nylon.
Similarly, to test if your guitar is classic or acoustic, you
simply measure the width of the frame where the strings are
attached. If the strings are very close to each other, its acoustic
and the strings are generally steel. If its quite spacious, then
its classic and the strings are nylon.
Acoustic guitars are more for strumming. Classic guitars are better
for plucking.
