yah... all government organisations.... u see.... u must have
the view that SAF/ mindef is juz one of the many government
organisations that are around... information about you with the SAF
is shared across the whole government board... Thus, that's the
answer to the first qs.
nxt, affect doesnt mean u wun get the job, it means that they will
take a second look at you when offering u the job to see whether u
are up to it.... The level of scrutiny varies from organisation to
organisation as well as the kinda of job u are applying... so see u
heng or suay onli.
Finally, to present to you from the management point of view that
how a past record would affect u... Just for eg, might not apply in
ur case. Let us say a person cannot adapt to his work environment
due to alot of stress, so from the management's point of view, they
will consider that this person might not be able to handle stress
as well as another candidate that doesn't have any records... To
the management, they believe what subject matter experts would say,
thus if the psychiatrist of their organisations says that "Yes, a
psychiatric problem is just like a physical problem," den they
would be more convicted to believe that statement.
Such are the facts of life....
