TVaddict SG of the combat rations, i eat mostly only the dessert and biscuits but recently i got to try the halal rations n found the spicy peanut noodle and the chili tomato pasta quite nice leh…
ah boi SG Bobor Terigu is the best.... esp when u put it on ur M113 roof overnite... so cooling when u eat it...
jacobs SG The menu changed again…. There was chili tomato pasta with don’t know what, nonya curry rice, fried pasta etc. Still taste as crappy as ever, i had biscuits and mamee for the last two days.
ditzy SG Kinda nice? the only thing thats nice that usually ships with it is the maggi mee and solid fuel. hehe
P*Gunner SG I would suggest the water chestnut w barley in soya bean drink. I had it last Nov in Australia... damn good having it cold. 10/10!!!!!!!
Gedanken SG SAF MREs sound positively heaving. Luckily in my day we only got the US MREs on LRRP missions - those were OK. However, some of us were tempted to tie a few brownies together and see if it would be effective as a flak vest. I always threw out the canned rations - got a couple of cans of Campbells and some packs of UHT milk and hey presto! New England Clam Chowder at BTEC!
