Gd luck saintboy on your first outfield. Being at outfield, you
tend to lose things. So safeguard your important stuff.
To avoid unnecessary punishments:
-Never go anywhere without your weapon.
-Never squeeze the trigger unless instructed. Take extra care when
you check clear your arms.
-Do as instructed but think before you do.
-Whatever ppl are doing that is wrong and will implicate you, have
someone or something to cover your ass when the punishment
comes.
-Most probably your sergeants will steal your rifle if chance
arises, even when you slp, try not to leave it with your buddy or
whoever you think you can trust as when the weapon is stolen, you
get the punishment, not him.
On personal comfort etc.....
-Powder bath to prevent heat rashes and abrasions.
-Mopiko??? My standard item.
-Extra pair of socks, to dry ur boots faster, take out the
insoles.
-If you are allowed to, use commercial groundsheet, they are
water-proof. SAF's groundsheet water-proof coating more or less
gone unless you got a new one.
