yeah, the material used isn't very strong, that's why the fuel
tanks are in a way 'anti bullet', meaning the bullet will penetrate
the hull.
but when the bullet hits the tank, the heat from the round will
cause a reaction on the material holding the fuel to seal up, so it
won't leak
